Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has stated that entire nation is looking at Telangana after its successful completion of caste census in the State and tabling the survey report in the Legislative Assembly.
He said the People’s government is committed to implementing social justice. The information contained in the caste census report will be used definitely in government’s policy decisions and also in decisions that impact and benefit the society.
Speaking to the media at the Secretariat here on Wednesday, Bhatti Vikramarka
said that some conspirators had resorted to wrong and motivated campaign to create hurdles and prevent caste census in Telangana, but the people understood government’s intention and thought process, and cooperated with the government for the success of survey and rejected the negative campaign.
Vikramarka said their government was extremely pleased to complete the caste census survey and placing it in the Legislative Assembly and Council for which some categories of people had been waiting for decades.
The caste census survey was conducted in a transparent and scientific manner, he explained.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the caste census survey was like a full body X ray scan and check up on the status and condition of people under various parameters and sectors.
Vikramarka asserted that the survey has proved government’s sincerity and commitment towards development of backward classes and weaker sections.
He also said that those who did not participate in the recent survey but interested now to give information, government is ready to take information from them.
"The caste census survey will help and pave the way in offering solutions to the problems faced by people for decades.
a detailed presentation of caste census survey report will be done for the people through a media conference in a few days," he added.
Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, Principal Secretary Sundeep Kumar Sultania, Hyderabad Collector Anudeep were present in the media conference .
